Strolling through a forest in spring is always inspiring, especially when you look at nature with a macro lens. These are some of my experiments…

A Quiet Time of the Year
Mystical Late Autumn Landscape
I haven’t been blogging for ages. The reason is that I took on a new job. Besides teaching languages, I’m also teaching art at a secondary school, which means a lot of fun and creative ideas but also some challenge since I’m quite new to teaching this subject.
Before I went to school yesterday I took these pictures of the nearby `Hallstättersee´, a place well known for its famous town Hallstatt and surrounding high mountains.
At this time of the year it’s not very busy there but the place still conveys its mystical, wild beauty.
An Autumn Hike
Autumn is the most beautiful season for hiking in my opinion.
The wide range of colours nature uses to paint its forests at this time of the year is simply amazing.
Spending a whole day outdoors, walking along small, idyllic paths and enjoying the last warm rays of the sun, clears your mind for the things which are really important in life.
A Hidden Place…
A Bit of Autumn in the Middle of Summer
Enjoying the Last Warm Autumn Days
One of my favourite places is this beautiful mountain lake not far away from my home town, called “Yew Lake”.
I took some pictures walking around the lake and then I hiked to the top of a a nearby mountain where I found this nice quote on a stone.
It says: Not the mind but the heart thinks up its way…
