Easter is coming up and so is a small DIY Easter market at a friend’s house.
I like these Easter-themed gift tags and textile prints.
Last Saturady we organised an open house exhibition at a friend’s place (if you are interested in textile art and tailoring have a look at her beautiful website werkstattstickler.at).
We invited some friends over and presented our different works of art – textiles, silver jewellery and prints.
It’s always good to set yourself a goal – mine will be to work for another small exhibition like that maybe next year…
Thinking back there were some things I really liked about the year 2013. In summer I travelled through Europe and saw many beautiful places I haven’t been before. I was really inspired when I came back and started to do some printmaking and painting again, something I really enjoyed at school. In October a good friend of mine and I visited the Biennale in Venice, which was really great that year.
So what are my plans for the New Year? Doing more of what I like, which is printing, painting, drawing and taking pictures of all the beautiful things around me…
I’ve just come back from Venice where I spent a few days visiting the 2013 Biennale of fine art. It was a really great exhibition full of inspiring works of art. This year they showed less spectacular exhibitions but rather melancholic, thoughtful pieces which I really liked.
