Some time ago I took part in a workshop where we were shown how to turn leaves and fruit of different types of trees into natural inks. First we took a walk through the outskirts of town and picked the material, then we produced the inks and tried them out on paper. Among others we used fruits of maple trees, mahony or elder berries.
While traveling through Greece this summer I did these small sketches of my impressions. Places visited were the monasteries of Meteora, the south of the Peloponnes as well as the islands of Chios and Hydra.
